Surreal Occasions helped me plan my mother's 50th Birthday party in December of 2016 and it was a grand occasion. When I approached them about my idea and the concept I wanted (that other companies tried to change or complained about the amount of difficulty and detail) Surreal Occasions accepted and expanded on my ideas which resulted in occasion more beautiful and special than I could have ever imagined. The communication between Jaheniss and I was fluent and frequent and the customer service was incredible. Not to mention the price was more than affordable. Jahneiss Groce coordinated my whole wedding event from beginning to end. I made a great choice by choosing her! I was able to enjoy my day without any worries. She was attentive to all my needs and handled them promptly. When something seemed to go wrong it was fixed quickly to where there was no notice. I had an awesome experienced with Jahneiss as my wedding coordinator!

I was completely stressed out when starting my planning process for my wedding last June, but Jahneiss and her partner did an amazing job at making sure I had a smooth process for the rest of my engagement. Wedding planning- $1800 Wedding Coordinator- $800 Non-wedding event $300-$1000 (Based on guest count and services needed)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before a client books with us, we like to go over pricing and the details of our role in the event planning process. Once the client is ready to book, we hold a 1st meeting to discuss the clients hopes and dreams for the event, the purpose for the event, and what the client is expecting throughout the process. We sign the contract and go over the payment schedule (if applicable) and make the first payment. From the moment the meeting is over, the planning process begins and we get right to work making all your dreams we discussed a reality.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Universtity of Houston for Business Managemnet. I have planned several events (combination of weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations) that we were hired for and several more that were off the record. I also planned my own wedding.
