FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is a culmination of expertise, equipment, time to travel, time to process, and the cost of printing (if applicable). It’s important for customers to understand that photographers would like to make a profit too. That way they can make a living, continue education, invest in equipment, maybe even take a vacation. Services and fees are discussed and/or negotiated before service is provided. A contract to solidify the discussion follows so everyone is on the same page (literally).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical process for working with a customer is to ask about and understand the project, provide feedback, and toss around ideas. We discuss price, place, date, and alternates.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
