Certified Fitness Trainer 2005, 2009, 2013, 2017 with ISSA (International Sports Science Association). Specialist in Fitness Nutrition (ISSA) 2017. I am also U.S. Army veteran. My personal level of fitness has remained my daily priority even after discharge. College courses in Anatomy and Physiology, biology and chemistry add to my general knowledge of human health. I worked as Medical Transcriptionist for a hospital in Georgia for many years, working closely with surgeons and physicians (cardiology, orthopedics, pulmonology, etc.) which helped broaden my understanding many diseases we are at risk for, and the vital role a healthy diet and exercise program plays in "staying out of the hospital"
