Introduction: We are the the only caller-and-band combination able to provide both instruction and dance music.
We are the premier contra dance band in South Florida, hosting dances in both Miami and Fort Lauderdale and playing a variety of styles of music, from Irish reels and jigs to old time, bluegrass gypsy jazz and originals.
It's watching a group of people come together, learn to dance, and experience the pure joy of dancing and waltzing to our music.

The Cornbread Band is outstanding. For us they play Blue Grass music. I would recommend them for any private party or group function.

Cornbread is an amazing local contra dance band that comes with its own caller. Anita does an incredible job teaching newbies how to dance, as well as calling more intricate advanced dances. This band knows how to spice up their music and are our favorite go to band for events in the south Florida area.
