I have known Carol for quite a few years as a friend, colleague and student. Carol studied piano with me privately, took my Etudes classes to study the teaching of artistry and had me coach some of here students from time to time as a "polish" before a competition. She has always shown herself to be a hard worker, striving for excellence to better herself for the sake of her students. Her students loved their teacher and performed well for her while showing artistry in their playing along with a wonderful understanding of the basic skills of performing at the piano. My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Carol for 9 years and we have been very happy with all she has learned and continues to learn. She is reasonably priced and offers venues for my daughter to perform to an audience besides yearly recitals.

Carol is a wonderful piano instructor to my children! She is always patient and kind towards them. She takes the time to ensure my kids understand the concepts before moving forward into new material. My children absolutely adore her!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Payment is due up front on a monthly basis. It is competitive with other teachers in the area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At first we would do an interview. I would like to hear the student play if they have previous training to see where they are musically. There is no charge for this. The interview would determine if this would be a workable situation for both parties.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied piano from age 5 through 2 years of college. I studied in high school with Max Green, professor of piano from Langston University in Oklahoma. After college at OBU in Oklahoma, I studied 4 years with Dr. Barron and Pam Brunson in Colorado Springs in a course called 'Etudes in Artistry'. Dr. Barron was professor of piano at Mesa State College in grand Junction.
