- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unlike many law firms, we DON'T charge hourly, instead we charge a flat fee for our services. We like to be completely upfront about everything so the price you see is the price you pay.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We would advise everyone to shop around. Don't meet with the first lawyer you talk to, at least not until talking to a few more, and really do your homework. These documents are important to your family and you should always make sure you are happy with the person you are forming that relationship with.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Some of the most important things to think through, especially if you have children or pets you want to take care of are "who will be their guardian or trust holder?" In other words, who do you want to have look after your kids or pets for you? And, who do you want to take care of your estate? Those two people will play a vital role in the execution of your wishes and you'll want to have conversations with these people to make sure they are up for the task.
