Introduction: I write and record the music for my band, in which I play guitar and sing. I also play bass in another band. I have a Minor in Music from the University of Pittsburgh. I've taken lessons myself and I've played in lots of bands over the years, and I've been teaching friends how to play guitar and bass all the while. I love recording and mixing as much as I love performing and teaching.

Andy truly understands music as a whole, I've learned a ton from, from as a beginner and as a more avid musician. He's dedicated to his work and his music, I fully recommend him as a teacher.

Great session, Andy clearly has lots of experience recording different genres and can accommodate a wide range of preferences. A great ear, totally worth it!

I am an aspiring rap and R&B producer. I have been producing music for 6 years and I've been an avid drummer for 12. Since I started producing with a background in drumming, my productions were very advanced drum wise, but I was always hesitant to learn theory beyond playing C Major and looking at Piano scale charts. Theory always seemed daunting to learn. While I was growing creativity and technical in all fronts, my lack of theory became a crutch. Andy sat down with me and broke down scales, chords, general theory tremendously well. Since my learning needs are far different from traditional piano education, Andy has able to accommodate me and shift the lesson plans to what I feel is most important. I'm not trying trying to learn how to play 'Marry has a Little Lamb'. I'm trying to make music that moves people, and through lessons with Andy, I'll be were I need to be in due time. Highly recommend him.
