Carly L. Bodnar Acting/Career Coach

Introduction: I am a storyteller, director, teaching artist, and performer/actor.  I have worked in a variety of mediums from scripted work to devised theatre to film and screen. I have worked at most of the major theaters in Philadelphia and co-founded ReVamp Collective, a collective of artists who create and tell stories in various mediums.  I received my BA in Theatre from Temple University with a minor in Art History, an alum of the 2018 Director’s Lab West and the 2018-2019 SDC Observership pool. I've not only been an actor, but a director/producer, as someone who has been on both sides of the table I know what directors, casting directors and producers are looking for as well as knowing what it is like to audition and work as an actor. Everyone is different which means that everyone’s career will take a different path. That is why I not only offer actor coaching, but career coaching; resume/headshot review, where to submit, protocol before and after the audition, how to self-produce your own work, and anything else you may need or want to know. I love working with students and finding what works for each individual. Actor training is amazing for public speaking, critical thinking and problem solving. I love watching my students grow and expand.
