Michelle was a Godsend After calling and talking to several attorneys and reading their contracts for services, with fees for every phone call and email, I was referred to Michelle Bell. From the start, I knew she was the right attorney. Michelle was upfront, caring and knowledgeable. Her fee was clearly stated and without any hidden costs. My 16 year old was charged with a DUI. My husband and I were heartbroken. They call it a baby DUI but there is nothing little or cute about the consequences. Michelle was very knowledgeable about juvenile DUIs and possible outcomes. She informed us about the MVD vs Court decisions and the possible probationary requirements. Our daughter was looking at a 2 year suspension of her license; no driving to school her senior year or her freshman year at college. This would be life altering. Michelle’s deviation request was successful in having the court recommend a restricted license vs 2 year suspension. My daughter might have had to complete 40 hours of community service, which I would need to drive her to and from as well as weekly drug testing which is humiliating and time consuming and potential fines of about $1500.00. Michelle was able to get all fines dropped, no community service and random drug testing once a month. For a working mom, this was much better. More importantly, she kept us sane throughout a very difficult process and met with my daughter to explain every step, possible outcomes and what she was going to try to do to get rid of or lessen the consequences. Thank you Michelle, we are forever grateful.

DUI to the slightest degree BAC .03 and speeding. Michelle was both extremely knowledgeable and professional and at all times made me feel confidant that she had everything in control. I was stopped for speeding and the officer cited me for a DUI when my BAC was only a .03. The prosecutor was playing pretty much hardball and wanted to go to trial . After Michelle submitted a deviation request twice, the prosecutor agreed to offer civil speeding. When I went to court, Michelle then asked the judge to have my fine waived and to allow me go to defensive driving school so that the civil speeding plea would be completely dropped. He honored that request. What a relief that was. I felt like my life was finally back in order. Michelle was able to get all charges dropped, and there is no conviction of any kind on my record. I highly recommend Michelle to be your Defense attorney.

Young and beautiful you might think she cant go to bat for you but this woman is well worth the money and more than capable. In February I recieved a DUI and was looking at a bleak future. I am a city commissioner and a paralegal who has future goals of law school and running for office so I could not risk a public defender. I hired Michelle Bell and it was the best decision I ever made. She started by taking me from a DUI to two civil traffic tickets and about $1600 in fines. She then went into court and got my fines dropped down to $0 with 50hrs of community service and 1 class. The judge seemed to like her so much that she whispered to me let the class know you talked to me and they will most likely scholarship you and waive their fee. If you need a DUI attorney and you can't afford to take a risk she is the way to go. Do not risk your future on anyone else!

Unfortunately Michelle was not the first lawyer that I hired after I was charged with misdemeanor assault. I was not happy with my first lawyer, he would not do things that I thought he should do, and he told me I don't stand a chance of being found not guilty and should be prepared to go to jail. The day I decided to fire him, he saved me the trouble and quit. Then I found Michelle. In the first 24 hours, Michelle did more for my case than my former lawyer did in two months. This was not a simple case and Michelle worked hard for me. She did not doubt me and although she would not sugar coat, she also did not give me cause for despair. The State had five witnesses and we had none. Two of the State's witnesses said they were there at the time of the alleged assault, but I told Michelle that they were not there. Michelle believed me and looked at the witness statements from my perspective. She found holes in the witness statements, especially that of the only witness who said they saw the alleged assault. All of the State's witnesses insisted there was nobody else there, but I told Michelle that there were two other witnesses present; I did not know their names, they were relatives of the alleged victim. Again Michelle believed me and kept after the prosecutor for months until the prosecutor finally came forward with the names of the two other witnesses. Michelle interviewed them and they both said I did nothing. This was a major breakthrough in my case. I should note that my former attorney did nothing to locate these witnesses other than a single phone call to the prosecutor then told me to hire a private investigator. It was more than a year after the alleged assault before we went to trial. On the day of the trial, one of the prosecution's witnesses did not show up, the only one who said she saw the alleged assault. We needed her testimony and when the prosecutor wanted to start the trial without her, Michelle stuck up for my rights and convinced the judge to continue the trial. Shortly afterward, the prosecution decided not to pursue the case and the charges against me were dismissed. I firmly believe that the way Michelle handled my case, especially her communication with the prosecutor, convinced them that they did not have a case against me.

Michelle's unrelenting dedication to my case is what got it dismissed. I contacted Michelle after being wrongly accused and charged of disorderly conduct. Michelle was able to evaluate my situation in one sitting once she heard the details. She was very knowledgeable of options available and also applied additional research to weigh them well. She conducted three interviews with officers and other involved parties to draw out the contradictions, and prepared a detailed five page report by studying different aspects surrounding the charge and surgically exposed several inconsistencies in reports. This shows her keenness to study a case and diligently handle different options ensuring no stone is unturned. This helped provide proof of my innocence and diminishing the validity of false charges that I was subjected. Through that we were able to obtain dismissal. While this shows how well she handled the case, her personality is definitely worth a mention. She was professional and quite aggressive in handling the details. At the same time, she was compassionate about my situation and showed personal care in explaining the details. Would definitely recommend her.
