FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When I do live art I charge $100/hr. Other than that my pricing depends on the complexity of the job and how long I think that it will take me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new customers my process begins with finding out very specifically what they want and what their project is. Communication is the key. I will make sketches and mock ups to make sure that we are on the same page once we have had our initial planning meetings. And once I get the go ahead from the customers I make sure that I get their approval on the work that I am doing for them all the way to the end.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelors and masters degrees in Painting and Drawing. While receiving those degrees I basically worked 7 years non stop on betting my painting and drawings skills as well as my communication through art making. Immediately after graduating with my masters I was hired by an animation house called Flat Black Films and I worked there for 14 years. I was able to hone my drawing skills while working there and I also learned how to make drawings for other people, as well as becoming very familiar with working on non stop tight deadlines. I am also an art instructor and I have taught beginning drawing and figure drawing at the college level for several years.
