Introduction: I love teaching guitar! I am very patient and understanding of the beginner guitar student. Everyone learns at their own pace. I have been playing and teaching electric and acoustic guitar for over 25 years. My method gives a beginner guitar player a great foundation to build from. It is important to keep the learning experience fun and exciting. The first several lessons are laid out to master basics and peppered with tips and tricks to speed up technical ability. The student will be equipped to tackle many different styles of music. Plus, we start working on those songs you want to play as soon as possible! Rock, Blues, Country, Folk, Christian Rock, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock..you name it, we can work on it. I Also teach music theory as related to the guitar. This will take the student to the next level making it easier to learn songs by ear and to write your own music! For those who wish to solo like a rock star we can do that as well! I teach lead guitar styles such as blues, hard rock, metal, country etc.. Please feel free to call or text with any questions! I also will supply acoustic or electric guitar during lessons if the student has not purchased yet. We will discuss which is best for you. Typical pricing: $25 for 1/2 hour to 45 min. $30 for 1 hour.
