- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$85/hr If after your first discounted session you would like to continue working with me to achieve a pain free life, I will develop a personalized treatment plan for you and all sessions are 85/hr flat rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For Your First Session: Please fill out and have your intake form. We will discuss your health history, goals and reasons for seeking treatment. Please wear or bring with you appropriate clothing to receive treatment in, such as: bra/ underwear, loose fitting gym shorts/ sports bra, tank top, or however you are comfortable. Keep in mind the majority of this work is done on the skin, not through clothing. Oftentimes, Structural Integration is gentle and relaxing, but from time to time a session may be therapeutically challenging. Our bodies are FEELING, PHYSICAL beings. We often tune out pain and other unpleasant sensations, but Structural Integration encourages one to feel ALL sensations that may arise. This is what our bodies need to do to heal. As your therapist, I will help you recognize, acknowledge and understand the necessity behind these therapeutically uncomfortable moments. It is most important to know that although Structural Integration may bring up physical or emotional pain, it does not force and will not injure you. It is important to listen to your body after a session, and know that some delayed soreness may be experienced. This is a NATURAL part of the healing process. It is important to discuss any pain or discomfort with your therapist. Drink plenty of water following your treatments and give yourself permission to experience these sensations to the fullest.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Nationally and State Certified Massage Therapist. I pursue continued education so that I may ensure the very best to my clients. I must mention however, and am very grateful for having completed the Anatomy Trains facial dissections courses with Thomas Myers. These gave me a much better understanding of the body.
