This is a really great moving company that exceeded our expectations in every single possible way. My husband did quite a lot of research with several moving companies, read reviews online, talked to people at work who had moved recently, etc. From the moment that Great Nation did our estimate, we felt confident that they would get our business, we found everyone to be honest, respectful and trustworthy and their price was extremely competitive. Their movers arrived on time and professionally packed all our stuff into their truck. William their driver was very helpful and clear, he gave us a spread for a delivery date which they kept. The long-haul driver and team were excellent. Everything arrived in Boston with all of our belongings intact, nothing missing or damaged. We highly recommend this company and their workers who managed to make us feel at ease during what would otherwise have been a super stressful move across the country. We have moved several times and a few times across country. Our experience with Great Nation Moving was by far the easiest and hassle free experience that we have had with moving. They sent over an appraiser who was able to give us a quote after walking through our house and seeing what we owned and were moving. He was within $50 of our ending price, so it extremely accurate. The pricing was in-line with several other companies that we had quote out the job. Rose, their sales/account manager, was great. We explained that we needed to move from within a specific time frame, and they were able to accommodate to our schedule. We were driving to our new home as soon as the movers were done packing everything up, and they even accommodated a faster pack up by adding an additional member to the crew packing up our belongings. They delivered our items in less than a week, which was much faster than our past experiences. Rose kept me posted on the progress of everything throughout the process and seemed to be working 24 hrs a day to make sure we were comfortable and in the know of what was going on. She even called within 30 minutes of the delivery of our items to see how everything went. We did have some slight damage on one item, which we were not bothered with as the item was beat up from a previous move. Without us filing a complaint, Rose was able to get us a check to cover the damages. Overall it was some of the best customer service I have experienced. Its always a headache and there is always the hidden issues that pop up along the way, however, I felt Rose kept us in the know and ahead of the curve with the move. That goes a long way when you have literally everything you own in their hands.Mar 7, 2018
I agree with other reviewers that there is a bit of a disconnect in the office and my estimate was significantly off from my final price. There is also a bit of excessive overwrapping but I can understand why for a long distance move. Rose and Jennifer worked to ensure my final price was closer to the estimate and within my budget. William in logistics ensured the truck arrived within the timeframe I needed for a very specific and tight move due to a work start date. I would say what makes Great Nation great are the moving crews. Eric ran my pick up and did an excellent job securing my items and documenting everything that was loaded into the truck. Fred and Carlos went out of their way to ensure my delivery came on a specific day that was out of their time range. They were pleasant and worked extremely hard even though it was probably an inconvenience for them. Fred was on the crew for my pick up and was familiar with my items and my moving situation and just an absolute pleasure to work with. Even though there were a few hiccups I still 100 percent recommend Great Nation if you are looking for a fast and efficient move with great movers who care. A lot of long distance companies want you to wait weeks for your items. For a NJ to FL move I had my move completed in 4 days. I would definitely use Great Nation again in the future and would say any issue I experienced would happen with any other company. I called after another moving company bailed on me 2 days before my move. Great Nation was able to jump in and coordinate my move, deal with my high stress level, and make sure all issues were handled to my satisfaction. A+++Feb 4, 2018

We are not the cheapest, but our prices reflect our experience, pride, dedication to service. When getting estimates from more than one mover you need check and see if services are the same.
