Nourish is an alternative therapy that combines a unique blend of Eastern Medicine and Kinesiology. This method of healing uses gentle movements to assess blocked/stuck energy and then targets specific areas of the body to release trapped energy and restore your natural life force, also known as Chi. Most emotional and physical ailments stem from some form of blocked energy - if you think about your body like a system of electrical currents that are constantly flowing, every blockage can lead to stuck energy in specific parts of the body resulting in pain, illness, depression, allergic reactions, and drainage of energy. Using traditional movements and breathing techniques from Tai Chi and Qi Gong therapy as well as direct healing modalities similar to craniosacral and Reiki healing, Nourish provides an immediate improvement in the flow of Chi and life-energy.
Each session focuses on connecting to your breath, your emotions, and your body. When all 3 are in awareness, the body can naturally release physical and energetic blockages that often are the root of many ailments. With simple, dance-like flow and gentle movements, each person can feel the new flow of energy. Most people describe it like warmth, electric, or tingly sensation that radiates throughout the body after a session. It is the feeling of being relaxed and energized at the same time, demonstrating a recharged, balanced energy state. It is comparable to a blend of Craniosacral therapy, reiki, tai chi, and dance. No experience with holistic healing is necessary, just an intention for what you would like to heal.
The best part about what I do is seeing the results it can bring to each person's life. I will never get tired of seeing someone completely revitalized in a matter of minutes, and seeing the joy and new-found sense of aliveness that it brings!
