Debbie at De-Clutter was on time and very Professional. She first listened to my needs and made sure of what I had to have done. After that we got right to work and cleared up many of unnecessary items that I did not need. What I did decide to keep became organized and will make it easy for me to make future decisions of placements. It was a pleasure to work with her and would recommend her service to everyone. Debbie is an incredible organizer! She really helped me get my whole house in order. My son's play space to my garage and laundry room have never looked better! She is motivating, but not overbearing and really let me decide on what I wanted to keep and donate. One of the most helpful things about Debbie is that she took all of the items to be donated for me, and she brought me back the receipt for taxes. As a busy mom who works full time, that was invaluable. I would still have backs of things to donate sitting in my garage if it weren't for Debbie. Her rates are extremely competitive as well. I would highly recommend Debbie to anyone looking to organize their space.

Hello! My name is Melanie Savage and Debbie is my go-to person for all things De-Cluttering! I have been working with her for months now and I am simply AMAZED at this woman. We set up dates & times, she is NEVER late, she comes ready to work and she expects the same of me. She first came to see what I was looking for help with. I am living with chronic disorganization, so to me I had a HUGE mess to deal with. She calmed my anxiety by letting me know that yes, i did have work to do, but it was not an insurmountable task. I have a difficult time throwing out things, so she worked with me to determine what I needed/wanted to keep. The rest I've donated or simply threw out. What a relief to have met her, because I could NOT have done this stuff without her! I am moving into another apartment and I intend to keep her as worker/mentor and friend. I recommend you forget the rest 'cause Debbie Macklin is the BEST!!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard price is $40 an hour. I charge a consultation fee of $40 which is due at the time of my consultation. Once I am hired, that $40 gets deducted off of the first hour of my service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically when I meet the customer I ask what their objective is to have done so I better understand how I need to approach the situation. Then, I discuss my thoughts and have input from the customer to be sure we have the same understanding as far as getting the job complete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a teacher for 32 years. It was important to not only have well organized lessons, but a classroom that was organized too!
