Introduction: My passion is working to create a beautiful event that my clients will remember for the rest of their lives. With 10+ years experience in customer service and the hospitality industry combined with current studies in event and floral design, we create a stress-free, fun, and memorable event for your special day. We specialize in "day-of" coordination, partial planning, and floral design for weddings and events. I take pride in treating every event with the same care, attention to detail, and responsiveness, as the biggest event because every wedding is an important one. I absolutely love making my client's day and building relationships. Pulling an event together is a lot of work but when we have made someone feel special, everyone has had a great time and has a smile on their face, it makes my day!

Melanie seemed to take care of everything with ease. She was her own Wedding Planner on her own Wedding day. She was the Bride, yet pulled off the event without a hitch! I was her Wedding Photographer, and I was amazed at how she prepared every detail, and how she handled everything on the Wedding day. She is organized, passionate, and doesn´t stress out about things. Her wedding was one of my favorites weddings this year. It was very easy to work with her that day. I felt so comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend her to my Brides.

Bird and Bloom hosted a baby shower for me and it was amazing. The decorations food and beverages made the event. My favorite color is lavender and the party details included this in a beautiful and subtle way even including it in the drink selection. I felt like a queen!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start off with an initial 15 minute phone call to discuss the event and the customer's needs and expectations of the pro they will hire. Once we establish the basics I like to meet in person to cover further details, the client's vision for the wedding, and to be sure we are a good fit for one another. Then we draw up a custom quote and contract and once signed we are officially booked!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 20 combined years in the service industry and in customer service and have planned and coordinated 18 events since Bird & Bloom got its start in 2016. I have studied floral design and soon will start on my event design certification. Learning and growing my skills excites me as I can offer more knowledge and creative ideas to my clients!
