- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A good ballpark figure would be $1.60 a sq. Ft. This can change based off of what work need preformed. (Trim, ceiling, patching, cabinets, doors, etc). It best for me to come out and look at the job and understand all expectations to give a fair and competitive price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'm process is a quick phone call and brief discussion to talk about the work they need done. Then to schedule them for a free estimate. During the estimating process I gather all the information I need to understand their expectations. Once that's complete I review the estimate cost and timeline of when the work can start and when it will be finished. From there I schedule the customer for the complete to be completed. Once work is completed we do a walk around to ensure everything need there expectations. Lastly, I collect payment and hand them my business cards and ask them to refer me to any friends or family.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing this type of work after I bought my first house and I had to paint every room, ceiling, trim and door. It took me a little while but the end product was awesome and the transformation was incredible. I had friend and family over after the painting was complete and I got endless compliments and everyone was telling me I should do this professionally. So I did!! And I have been having a great time doing and love creating new relationships with the great people I meet.
