FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is structured for each specific case, based upon the time and complexity of each matter. I discuss my fee thoroughly with my clients so they understand exactly what services they will receive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give prospective clients a free legal consultation over the telephone. I am available for phone consults during the day, and even evenings and weekends if that works best for the client. This is their opportunity to describe their legal matter and discuss their concerns. Based upon our discussion, and after considering the specific circumstances, I explain what legal services I can offer and the fee for those services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended college at W&J where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English & Spanish, with a minor in Economics. I attended Duquesne University School of Law. My Juris Doctor was conferred in 1990. I served as a staff attorney for President Judge Emeritus Kate Ford Elliott of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, and an Assistant District Attorney in Allegheny County before opening my own law office. Each year, I attend Continuing Legal Education courses to remain up-to-date on the areas of the law that I handle.
