- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be reasonable with fees based on cost of case. We do bill hourly. I always weigh costs of litigation with my clients so they know what they are getting into.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free 5-10 minute telephone call to make sure the client needs to come in, how urgent the meeting is, and what documents would be helpful in that first meeting. The first initial consult is therefore a very thorough meeting where a full strategy is outlined so clients get a good feel for what my representation would look like.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've specialized in family law for over a decade now. I regularly attend the statewide family law conferences every winter and summer to stay up to date on changes in the law. I'm also on various councils which help keep me informed of changes in law and procedure.
