I was referred to Shawn Maust from another friend that used him for a job last summer.. she found him on Angie's List. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised by the professionalism I received from him. He took the time to talk to me and figure out exactly what my Landscaping needs were with my new house. He guided me to certain flowers and shrubs that would work best for my soil and the amount of sun that I get. This year.. i'm going to be using him for my retaining wall... and next year.. my patio! I can't do everything at once.. (New home owner) but He Treats My Small Jobs like it's the Most Important Job to Him!!! :-) That's why I will always recommend Shawn to whoever may be looking for landscaping. His workers have also been the ones to cut my grass. I didn't have a lawn mower and now I'm glad I didn't have to invest in one!! Quick and affordable. Since I am a female I'm always on guard for someone to take advantage of me since I don't know the in's and out's of landscaping. (or cars or plumbing or electrical..etc). His prices were competitive with other locations I called. Actually the wall pricing was actually a lower than I anticipated! I Trust him! And that's important. Five Stars for Shawn and his team!!

I cannot say enough good things about Shawn Maust and his crew. Very professional and I was extremely pleased with their work. They left the work site clean at the end of each day and were courteous & professional. Shawn did everything from initial yard design plus hardscaping. Could not be happier with the results! Shawn was extremely helpful, always available to answer any questions or any concerns I had, and always kept me updated on the project. He broke out the costs of everything for me, which was extremely helpful when determining my budget. I referred him to my best friend recently. She needed some landscaping and new retaining walls. He showed up the day after she called him to look at the project and price it out. She was extremely happy with his prompt response time and ultimately hired him for the job.

After storm damage created a need for an excavator, Maust Landscaping cleaned up my mess. They arrived when they promised, provided a fair estimate and came back to complete the work when they said they would. They got everything done, plus a few add-ons, all in one day. I will utilize Maust Landscaping again and will recommend them to my friends and family!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
typically starts with a phone call or email. And then a consultation of the property and project. It also gives the customer a chance to meet me or my other sales associate. Most importantly listen to the things they are looking to get out of the project! We will then provide numerous suggestions that we may have from previous experiece. At that point we go back to the office and work on the putting a plan together for the customer. Often along with adding plants,we will email the customer pictures of the plants we suggest incorporating into the project and provide them with an idea for where the plan is to place the plants. This allows the customer to be a part of the process and have a hand in the creation.
