FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting a new potential customer for the first time usually begins with a simple phone call. I like to get the customers input on the project as well as answer all of the preliminary questions they may have. Often times there is 5-10 questions that the customer may have about the processes or techniques that would be needed to complete their project.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We work directly with home owners that are interested in a quality job from a company that is willing to take the time to personalize their project and explain the details and options fitting. Our customers always appreciate the level of detail and consideration going into their projects. Big box stores and Joe Shmoes will only do what you ask and most of the time the designer "if any" never steps foot in your home, leaving you with an expensive tasteless design.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First thing I would warn home owners of is the big box remodelers. If you are going to a large facility with secretaries and in house designers, that’s where you money is going, not the project. A lot of the times your project is sketched up on a computer and they even leave you responsible for the measurements. Then when the installer is there many issues can arise which are simply fixed by emptying you pockets, yes all the un-addressed issues will be YOUR responsibility, that was in the 2000 page contract. Next thing I would consider is first impressions. If you do find a potential builder, make sure he has time to listen and note your project. Also make sure he takes time to come see your project within a close time frame. Also use your instinct on first impressions, consider what it would be like working with that person for the next 3 months. Are you comfortable with them in your home?
