Introduction: My name is Huan Zhu and I am a professional violist who has played with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra for over 30 years. I am deeply passionate about teaching and performing music. Everyone's journey into music is different and I believe finding that personalized approach is the most important step for those who have never played or those who wish to return to playing instruments. With over 20 years of teaching experience across ages 4-70, I hope to be a life changing part of your musical journey!
Music is as much about communication as it is a celebration of being human. By spreading the joys of music, we can all live fuller lives. Musicians do not necessarily save lives;(though they can!) they give lives meaning!

He was and still is one of the greatest mentors that I ever had the luck to meet. He was patient and the way that he handled lessons was both responsible and inspiring. I learned so much and noticed an immediate difference after the first lesson. Bless his heart!!
