Introduction: I provide one of a kind custom flowers for your special day. I consult with my customers one on one and deliver the flowers personally. You can be assured you will get the special attention you want and deserve! Depending on the size of your wedding, I will deliver the flowers, and stay through your Ceremony to move arrangements so they can be re-purposed throughout your day...Aisle flowers can be re-purposed as centerpieces...Unity candles can go on the head table....Bridesmaids bouquets can also be used to decorate your head table. Petals will be there to make sure all your flowers are utilized and arranged to perfection. My studio is in my home. All the flowers purchased for your wedding will be used for YOUR wedding. I do not have a commercial space to resale your blooms. In today's hectic world, I offer you my time. As much as you need to make your day perfect! I love all aspects of my work. From the initial consultation where we take your dreams and ideas and match up flowers that complete your vision, to personally picking out the flowers I will work with, to your special day when I deliver your flowers and see the look of joy on the Bride's face and know that we have achieved above and beyond what she expected! ~ Individual Attention...Exquisite Design ~

Sue did an amazing job with our flowers! They were everything that I had envisioned. I had brought in some paint chips and some pictures for inspiration. Sue brought the ideas to life (they looked better than the inspirations)! Each bridesmaid had a different accent color and Sue did a marvelous job making sure that she got the colors just right. Our guests could not stop taking about our centerpieces and how unique the succulents were. Sue is very resourceful and is capable of using flowers from the ceremony for the reception! She also did a wonderful job communicating with us throughout the entire process. She is very devoted to her clients! Our Day of the Dead wedding was colorful and festive because of Sue!

I'd just like to say that her response was impeccable! I haven't used her services yet but as the only florist who got back to me through Thumbtack, I have to say, it's worth a review! I hope to continue the business relationship! The pictures I saw on her website look AMAZING! ...I have to be honest, I was freaking out with wedding planning yesterday (yikes!) But seeing her beautiful, colorful pieces actually made me feel at ease... wow. I can breathe now!

Sue was very professional from the first contact and super friendly. I felt like I was meeting a kindred soul! I loved her enthusiasm for our vision for the wedding. We got married yesterday, June 25, 2016. The flowers arrived on time yesterday morning and exceed my expectations! They were all completely gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. She also created two beautiful centerpieces with the leftover flowers! Her prices are very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend her for any project you might need her for and will definitely think of her for any future projects!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each Bride is unique. As a result, I cannot fit Brides into a pricing schedule or package. Each quote is done individually and is specific to each Bride. That way, each Bride gets exactly the items she needs and not a lot of extras she doesn't need or want.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up an appointment and we work up a quote. This is a working quote and may be modified up until 3 weeks before the wedding. I will work with you and your venues to create the most cost effective, yet elegant arrangements, using any items the venues or the Bride may want to incorporate in her designs. Petals also rents many elements at an additional charge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my training is on the job. Having 20 years in the floral business, including nursery work, retail management and training and 15 years designing fresh, I can discuss and incorporate many ideas and elements. Most importantly - I can also tell you what won't work! Also, and most importantly - I listen!! It isn't my vision I am trying to create - it's YOURS!!
