FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Considering that we specialize in location photography, we take into account the many variables that present itself (travel time/distance, location challenges, number of people involved with the shoot, and time spent on location among many others) with each unique situation to come up with a price that mutually acceptable to both parties.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important part of the process is to discuss the project in detail with the client in order to get a full understanding of what needs to be accomplished. After this is accomplished, we schedule the shoot at the agreed upon location. Depending on how involved the photo shoot is, it usually takes a few days to process the pictures and get proofs sent to the client. Once the client receives their proofs, they choose which prints they would like and we either have them sent out to be professionally printed or they are delivered to the client via electronic format.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught photographer, however, with every project that I've completed over the last sixteen years, I have learned something new. I always find a way to apply these lessons to the next project to help improve my work. While I have attended seminars and have done extensive research and reading on the subject of photography over the years, real life experience looking through the lens is what makes the difference, and in my opinion, nothing can replace that.
