1 hire on Thumbtack
I had the worst experience with this company just by requesting a quote and I will never want to hire them to do any of my projects. I requested a quote through thumbtack this morning to get my trees trim and all the quotes I got from all other companies were very professionally and polite. By late evening (which was already past 8:30pm), I got a quote from this company so I politely replied back to tell them that my trees are crape myrtles and red tip tree and they aren't big. Also, I politely said I found someone already so they can move on to the next requested project and thank them for their time. Well, they replied back to my message with the rudest attitude telling me I need to be more specific next time, that trees are different than bushes and that they're expert in trees not bushes. Excuse me for not knowing that THEY think crape myrtles are bushes which in my opinion crape myrtles aren't bushes. Even if crape myrtles are bushes, I don't need someone like them to insult me and being so rude. I specifically mentioned in my request that my trees are 5-10 feet tall. If they're expert in trees, they should have spent extra time read the request more carefully instead of being so rude to a potential customer. I don't care how long they've been in business and how good they're, just by communicating through email I will never do business with this company. Such a disappointment!!!Mar 7, 2017Verified
My red oak tree looks fantastic!Jul 6, 2016Verified
We have used aPerfectTree for several jobs at two locations. In both locations, large trees required removal. Curtis and his crew took great care to remove the trees and afterwards ground the stumps and left the property nice and neat. We have been customers since August 2012 and HIGHLY recommend a PerfectTree.com Totally Trees for all your tree trimming needs!Oct 29, 2016
Fast scheduling, good price, and trees look great. Will definitely use them again.May 27, 2016
Curtis is simply the BEST. He has been our "go-to" guy for years. Our property has many trees, and he has always known the proper way to keep them healthy and beautiful. He is truly an arborist, and understands the relationship between trees, soils, insects, and wildlife, and continues to take classes & achieve higher certifications. He is honest, fair-priced, and careful. Highly recommend him. LOVE Curtis!!May 19, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Normally to prune the foliage to between 10 and 15 feet above the ground, provide 3 to 5 feet clearance between the foliage and the roof / structure, remove the dead limbs over 2 diameter inches, thin the interior growth up to between 10 to 15 feet, remove akward growing aggitating limbs and haul off the debris. Most of this work should be able to be done from the ground. This work is around $250.00 per tree plus tax.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I prefer to quote as opposed to estimating the project. No surprises at the completion of the job by submitting a higher invoice. I need to see the project to give an accurate quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I achieved my Board Certified Master Arborist BCMA TX-3236B which is like a Master Electrician or Master Plumber. Experienced since 1994 in pruning (trimming) and removing trees. I can get the job done safely, correctly and with the tree's longterm health and preservation in mind. In the case of removals, without damaging your property.
