I was in town for a work conference and desperate to get my hair done. I was scared to try just anyone but Hannah had great reviews and pictures. She got me scheduled super quick and did not take forever to do my hair! I'm so thankful. I will be driving the hour and a half back to see her again!

I reached out to Hannah because I was unhappy with the color of my hair. It had too much Carmel color and I had been going to the same stylist for a little more than a year and wasn’t happy because I kept getting the same unwanted results. Hannah listened to what I wanted and she delivered beautifully. She took time to listen and she spent extra time correcting what was previously done. The finish product was perfect! Hannah is 100% a color specialist. It’s obvious she knows what she is doing and most importantly cares about her clients and their wishes. This is my first time to use Thumbtack and am really pleased with the results. I wanted to get a hair cut and color and sent it out to multiple hairstylists in the area. Hannah was the first to respond and gave me options for appointment times. I was very pleased with the cut and color. She listened to what I wanted, and my hair looks great. I also was happy to see that the salon she is working at is taking Covid safety protocols seriously. I am high risk and this was my first time to get my hair done in over a year and a half. Everyone wore masks, they asked me to wait in my car until my appointment time, customers were well spread out, etc. I will absolutely go back when I need another freshen up and will try not to wait so long next time.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A smile & handshake for sure! :) I encourage my clients to bring photos from Instagram or Pinterest so I have a visual idea of what they are wanting. From there I do a thorough consultation and get a brief history of your recent color processes and talk a bit about your lifestyle and expectations for your finished look. After the consultation I will go over what I think would be best for you and your hair and suggest any additional treatments that will maintain the integrity of your hair.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed hairstylist and trained at the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy. I have also received some advanced training with Redken and am a certified product expert for my company. Taking an exam in November to become a Redken certified colorist!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
6 hour color correction! My client had previously been to another stylist and was not satisfied with the outcome (photo on profile). With her patience we were able to lift her to a beautiful blonde! :)
