Reptile Discovery Programs

Introduction: We provide educational and entertaining live reptile programs in a live show format for birthday parties and in a Meet N Greet format for other special events. We have presented our programs at schools and public libraries across the state of Florida and at schools and colleges in almost every state. We are licensed by the Florida Wildlife Commission and insured. We serve the entire Florida peninsular from Miami to Jacksonville. I have been fascinated with reptiles since an early age. For more than forty years now I have been working with reptiles from all over the world and sharing the things I have learned about them with audiences of all ages. In order to learn more about reptiles I have traveled to Africa five times, to South America three times and recently completed my fourth trip to tropical Asia. Often these trips have involved participating in scientific conferences and often they have involved observing reptile behavior in the wild. For more than thirty years now I have lectured annually on venomous snakes and snakebite for medical personnel serving in the United States armed forces. My programs for middle school and high school students include information about starting a career in zoology and conservation. All of my programs include information about natural history, geography and conservation as well as alligator safety and snakebite prevention and first-aid. My work is very rewarding to me as it allows me to share this fascinating family of animals with others and to help them develop a better understanding and appreciation of the world's often most misunderstood animals.
