Introduction: For years I have worked with children both in and out of the classroom, varying from ages infant to 12th grade. I have my BA in Childhood Education from Elmira College, and have exemplified responsibility and thoroughness in a multitude of different environments involving kids.
In addition, I'm a huge animal lover! I've been a dog owner my entire life (as well as parakeets, fish, and even rats- I guess you could say we had a busy household!). I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all breeds, and have experience in both house and pet sitting for weekend and week-long durations.
There is no greater personal success than when I have contributed to making those around me happy! I love knowing that I have helped met needs of a person (or animal) so that they feel comfortable and at ease. I enjoy the social and emotional benefits of exercise and interaction; it's amazing to get to "play" for work!

My husband and I met with Casie at our home on November 9th. We sat down and discussed the rate, our expectations and her expectations. The expectation agreed upon was to house sit every Friday to Sunday, take care of the pets and clean the house (wipe all surfaces and mop). Since we were in agreement, I decided to show her the house and what needs to be done. I went over where the dogs do their "business", their food and explained the rules of where they are allowed to go, etc. Showed her where the trash is, went over the alarm etc. Showed her the cleaning supplies, etc.
Then on Monday, November 14th, I sent over our document with all our codes and reiteration of what we went over so she would have a reference and just in case she missed something we went over. She was all set for Friday the 18th.
We texted her Friday at 11 a.m. letting her know we have left along with the instructions of where to find the key/code, etc. She texted me 5:45 p.m. saying she was heading over to our house. She actually arrive at 7:15 p.m., she began texting me several questions which normally I wouldn't mind but all of the questions we went over and they were also in the document I sent over. She then left at 9:10 p.m. and returned 12:15am. I was fine with this until I found out about Saturday and then Sunday.
Saturday- I texted and asked how they did, and again she texted a bunch of stuff that was in the document I sent over. She left at 2:20 p.m. and returned at 11:30 p.m. leaving my dog locked up in a crate for 9 1/2 hours. The other dog in a room for 9 1 /2 hours.
Sunday - she left at 11 a.m.
When we got home, she didn't so much as change the water for my cats much less wipe even ONE surface of our house. She didn't wipe one counter nothing, NOTHING!!!!! NOTHING WAS CLEAN, or even a bathroom counter wiped off. She didn't left a big bag of dog pooh sitting on a towel on our table.
We haven't checked the side yard to see if she cleaned up the poop or cat litter......
We would not have her back under any circumstances. She didn't read the instructions, she wanted the necessary information fed to her and her priority wasn't making sure our pets were comfortable & secure. And the house cleaning......unfortunately never happened.
Just an fyi- we have a security system which has all of this data.
