- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have set pricing. I bid each job as an individual, by what it takes to get the job done in materials and labor. My suppliers have told me, that I need to raise my minimum bid, but some jobs do not take a lot of time and materials, compared to some that are more extensive. So to be fair, to both the customer and myself, each bid is individual.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial contact, set up a bid appointment, send customer written bid, and follow up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Suppliers will have manufacturers come in and teach contractors how they want there products installed properly for warrantee purposes, and so the roofing materials last the time they were designed to.
