Art Not Just for Mozart

Introduction: I am a versatile violinist with a background in classical, rock, and folk music. I have studied with classical and folk teachers and am working on a master's in violin performance at SFSU, studying under Zak Grafilo, the first violinist of the world-class Alexander Quartet. In addition, I write music for my own band and work as my own manager, promoter, and visual artist. I have experience in recording my own music as well as other musicians' work. I also play guitar, piano, sing, and dabble on the banjo. As a teacher, I've coached youth rock bands and taught private lessons to children and adults for many years. I currently work as one of the top teachers at Music N Beyond, teaching violin, piano, and guitar. Music has always been an avenue in which I could relax, express myself, and explore intellectually. This, I want to share it with other people, young and old, so they too can have this experience.
