Introduction: I’m inspired by outdoor adventures, travel, playful people, live music and amazing light and take advantage of any opportunity to capture raw emotion and natural beauty away from home. I’ve been capturing weddings, family lifestyle photography and casual portraits for more than a couple decades now working primarily in the Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Napa, and San Francisco Bay areas, as well as all along the coastlines around San Diego and Coronado and everywhere in between. From the moment we met with her we were sold! First she is just an awesome person and extremely accommodating. She put Brian and me at ease that our day would look and feel like whatever we wanted it to. Once she showed us some of her work, we were sold – plain and simple. She simply LOVES what she does and she wants you to love what she does for you. All I can say is we love her. She is professional yet fun. She knows how to make everyone laugh and she definitely knows how to capture the moment. I would recommend her to anyone without blinking an eye. I trust her to make all the decisions. Lisa is amazing! She has captured moments of love, anticipation and excitement since our engagement and wedding 8 years ago up until the latest addition of our 2nd daughter at the beginning of this year. I've been meaning to write this review for awhile as our wedding was in May and life has been busy since. Working with Lisa was hands down one of the best parts of our day. She is so creative and genuine in the work she does and she completely understood the image and the mood I wanted for our wedding. When I was researching photographers I remember stumbling onto her and all I kept thinking was "I won't have to worry if she's getting the shots that I want". I also had the pleasure of doing a boudoir shoot with Lisa in lieu of an engagement shoot. It was a blast we had so much fun and Lisa is a very easy person to be relaxed and comfortable around, even with all the stressers going on she just brings you into the moment and helps you enjoy it. I and my husband are so so glad we picked Lisa, what started as a business/service need ended as a new friendship. I can't wait to work with her again. You truly could not ask for a better photographer.

Lisa Richmond is a master at her craft! She has captured my family photos and milestones for years now. I look at her photos as art and I am so grateful to her for capturing these moments in time. She is patient (as working with crabby teens is tough!) and kind and does what ever it takes to get "the" shot. She has an eye that most lack and does brilliant things with light!
