FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge$75 per hour and a flat basic rate of $150 to mount a tv. However, there may be additional fees based on your situation. Please see a quote for tv mounting details. I do NOT charge for travel time. When working on an hourly basis, it is sometimes hard to assess final costs to the client. I will do my best to provide you with the most accurate quote that I can. While I may not get it exactly right, I do promise my clients that if I am working on a computer off-site, I will never charge more than $200 in labor to fix it. If it is going to cost you more than that to fix, many times it makes more sense to purchase a new computer. Again, this is just one of many reasons why that initial phone consultation can come in handy and save you money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to speak with someone on the phone to assess their needs prior to arriving at a job. Once we determine what your needs are, then we can schedule an appointment. This allows me to be sure that I will have all additional equipment I may need for your specific job prior to arrival. Upon arrival, I will assess the job again to make sure that it will turn out exactly as you expected.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems (ie., Computers) from Florida International University in 2000.
