I had written a review here that was not good, but after the owner or manager texted me an apology for the misunderstanding we had, I felt compelled to update it. What I needed done is not something they do. I needed insulation in my roof. They are roofers. It made sense to me that roofers put insulation in roofs. I added my request on Thumbtack and got a reply right away, but apparently because of a lack of options to select when adding a request, they thought I also needed repairs, which I don't. Perhaps the one thing they should have done is call to discuss the project before sending someone out. We would have discovered the problem then. I get the feeling they are probably very good at what they do. I do know they are very responsive, and because of the way they communicated with me before coming, even though we didn't know at that point they wouldn't be able to help me, and the very nice apology he texted me after my less than stellar review, I have to say very professional. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We offer referral fees, advertising fees and will work with each property owner in regards to paying deductibles. Our pricing is based off of the median average price for the area. We use an estimating software that all insurance carriers recognize.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We conduct a digital inspection of the property. We show the customer our findings in a video short clip. We will then suggest either minor repairs or working with the insurance company on the customer’s behalf to complete the negotiations and get a full replacement of the roof, siding, or windows.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I’m a state-licensed commercial and general contractor. I also hold serval state insurance adjusting licenses and work as an adjuster with insurance companies during major catastrophic events.
