Introduction: Atlantic Home Improvement is a local, family owned and operated business. We have over 13 years in the construction industry specializing in flooring, remodeling, carpentry and general repairs. We pride ourselves in doing it right the first time. Our mission is to provide an honest, fair service at an affordable price to our customers. What do I love about my work? There are a thousand answers to this question, and new ones are added everyday. Of course being in a different place everyday, meeting new people and fixing problems are always fun and rewarding perks of the job. For myself, I enjoy the constant growth of skills and knowledge, the long days and the short ones, the simple fixes and the most challenging projects. However, the part I enjoy the most about the work I do is the end result, that's what it's all about!

Southern Home Services has performed a variety of different jobs for me. Marty and his crew definitely exceeded what i expected. He also showed me different ways to help me save money, which doesn't happen to often. These guys are the only ones I truly trust after trying many different contractors. I am so comfortable with them that I go to the store while they work on my home. Its not often you run into people like that. Try them you won't be disappointed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For small tasks and "handyman" type projects we charge an hourly service rate. Most of our jobs require several days to complete and we provide an up-front estimate that we guarantee does not change.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to start with a site visit to get to know our customer and have a better understanding of their project and what they wish to accomplish. Then, if we are the right fit for the customer, we can proceed with a business relationship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20k+ hours of on the job experience directly related to the services in which I provide. I am also a licensed contractor in the State of Arkansas.
