- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education includes 200 hr teacher training (Iyengar Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin) (2014) in northern India, where I also worked at the instructors ashram- Om Ashram in Dharmsala UH India. In December 2014 I became certified as an Aerial Yoga Instructor 100hr teacher training. I also attained concentrated study in Sivananda Yoga given my abroad education in Wimbledon near London, UK. My education grew in Hatha and Ashtanga yoga for both practice and teaching when I studied during 2016 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia with my teacher Jani Jaatinen. Workshops include: Tim Miller- 3 day ashtanga workshop FL 2013 pranayama, mantra, technique, and alignment adjustments for teachers Yoga journal conference- 3 days intensive 2013 Many classes including but not limited too: Richard freeman, Cameron shayne, Rina jakubowicz, Rodney yee Om ashram- intensive advanced workshop with multiple instructors from around India in Rishikesh India 2014 focus meditation, pranayama, and advanced ashtanga postures with Q&A Brock &krista Cahill - 1 day workshop FL 2015 inversions & arm balance techniques Jani Jaantinen- 3 day workshop Carrollton,TX 2015 inversions, backbends, heart and hip openers for students and teachers. Places of work: Om ashram 2014 following completed teacher training taught at ashram classes in Iyengar Hatha classes and chakra cleansing / pranayama sessions on both small class (unheated) setting in addition to private sessions. I also co-taught arm balance workshops sessions for 2.5 months before traveling for continued Sanskrit & philosophy education within India. I have worked as an aerial instructor and a Hatha vinyasa instructor at Kula Yoga Studio 2015-2016 Classes (exception aerial) were per studio guidelines taught in a heated environment for 75-90 minutes. Class sizes ranged from one to 7 in aerial classes and 14 to 30 persons per Hatha vinyasa classes. Private yoga sessions were also at this location when needed. 2016-present yoga lemon studio lake Mary, FL I teach classes including Iyengar Hatha flow, ashtanga, yin, and aerial yoga. I teach in classes in both unheated and Infrared heated class settings. I teach class sizes 1-5 aerial, other class sizes up to 25 people. Class sessions range from 60-90 minutes. Armbalance & inversion, technique & alignment, and hip chest opener, mantra& philosophy workshops have also been taught. I also aide in the studio's teacher training program. Have worked with many students in private settings, conducting classes in studios, homes, outdoors, and at their offices. I conduct sessions according to individual needs and goals.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all different types of people, people needing guidance in practice from beginner to advanced, those recovering from injuries, pregnancy, anxiety, and ptsd, etc... Sometimes I work with clients which as working professionals need a customized schedule that gyms and yoga studios can't accommodate. I have worked with diverse clients of different ages, backgrounds, cultures, religions, and needs. I have both male and female clients that come from from all over the globe.
