I changed in private into what I was comfortable in and was given a choice between Starbucks frappe and wine. During the shoot music was pumping. Alicia, the photographer, gave me compliments and advice on my poses. Now, I look at my book when I need a boost in my self-esteem like when my supervisor laughed when I said I worked out. This is definitely something I would do again in a few years.Mar 7, 2017
I felt at ease and enjoyed my session at Buxom Boudoir. If you ever wanted to do a boudoir session this is the place to trust!Mar 4, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have two different sessions that clients can choose from, along with a variety of high end products. I also offer financing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I'm working with a new client, I like to get to know her. I send a survey so to a new client so I can understand her comfort level, what she's looking for and what she loves about herself. From there, we will email back and forth or we can set up an in-person consultation. During a shoot, we just have a good time, and by the end of the shoot, we feel like we've known each other for a long time. You'll forget you're even posing in your lingerie.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started in the boudoir industry as a makeup artist. I loved seeing how confident women became and I was happy to be a part of their shoots. Makeup was fun, but I wanted to be the one providing the entire self-esteem experience. When I got married, I did a boudoir shoot for my husband and was disappointed that there weren't any boudoir exclusive studios near me. That's when I knew I needed to open one for the women in my area.
