How often do you find a real life situation, in this case a wedding, with numerous things happening at the same time, all involving people some strangers to each other, and one person, not just captures these once in a split second moments, but their presence heightens the mood of the people, and brings out of every individual joy, to be shared in a collection of photos. That’s my best way of explaining what I encountered and that takes rare talent. We all hire photographers from time to time, and my recommendation to guarantee you will truly enjoy your event and be handed memories that may have been missed by another photographer, is to hire Elated Light. Sorry if I was wordy, I just had countless bad experiences with others that left me exhausted and Elated Light is my only amazing experience.

My husband and I have been married for 6 years and thought it would be fun to have some professional photos taken of us. We had Sarah as our photographer and she was such a pleasure to be around! Sarah at Elated Light did an amazing job making me feel comfortable, elegant, and feminine at a time when I was feeling everything but confident in my body while pregnant with our twin girls. She captured beautiful moments that will stay with me forever, all while helping to entertain and literally hold our 9 month old son during the shoot. I can't recommend her enough!!

Sarah is a true professional with the most unique creative eye. She took our session above and beyond to capture the most precious moments between two people in love. You can teach someone how to take pictures but you can't teach someone how to make chemistry grab you like her pictures do. 100% recommend her.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an associate of arts with a photography focus as well as continued education and workshops every year to keep my craft as crisp and stellar as possible!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A lifetime love affaire with photography started when I was about 8 years old. In high school, I began to focus more on the art and classic side of film photography and got into DSLR as soon as I could get my hands on one. Years later, I don't go anywhere without my camera bag and favorite lens. ((35mm))
