FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As every wedding and portrait session are unique in the style, number or people, time allocated and needs of the clients I have a sliding scale of prices that I can go over with my clients during our initial meet-and-greet or which through thumbtack I will quote you in my response.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After expressing interest in acquiring my services as a professional photographer for your portrait session or event, I prefer to meet my clients in a casual environment where we can go over in more detail exactly what the client is looking for, and just how I can provide that service. Everyone has a vision of what they want their photographs to end up like and I am versatile to many styles, so a short meet-and-greet I find is the best way for me to get a feel for my prospective clients and lets them meet with me to see if what I offer is truly what they are looking for in a casual no-pressure, no-sales-pitch environment. If after this initial meeting we both find we can work together to achieve the desired product, then we can either transition into a more detailed nuts-and-bolts type of meeting, or we can reschedule for a follow up where we iron out the remaining details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a University Graduate and studied Photography as my major in college. From the time I was 18 I was doing photojournalism as a photographer for the newspaper The Spokesman Review, which has a circulation of over 300,000. I also shot for my University Newspaper in college. I currently photograph for the magazine XRayMag which is based out of Denmark and focuses on underwater and SCUBA photography and journalism specifically. You can view some of my underwater work at xraymag.com. Since graduating from university I have been photographing weddings and family portraits, which are my specialty currently.
