- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my childhood, by my eldest sister, who'd take me on English rental rides spring through autumn; took a series of English group lessons along with my lifelong friend. In my teens, I was able to ride my sister's friend's horses. Spent my mid-20s with a top-level, amateur Dressage rider in Southern California; then 3-day Eventing lessons in SoCal, also. Was given an Appaloosa mare that I trained for everything English, adding trails, endurance riding and gaming. Started riding Western when I was 42, in Oregon. My mare is trained in almost everything English and Western, including gaming, and team-penning (three riders have to get three same-numbered calves into a pen. See YouTube /watch?v=9S-6m0KBVug for penning video) So much fun. It's also in my blood--my family is famous in Thoroughbred racing--Exterminator was our most-famous racehorse.
