Great on communication & timing, came prepared & ready to work, did hair & make up for 2 girls, we provided her with the look then she made it come to life. Our make up and hair stayed all night. She was friendly and efficient. Worth every penny. This was my first time using thumbtack as well & I’ve already shared with others how wonderful this service is at the airport. I’m very happy with Tara & thumbtack for making my event a breeze. Especially, with traveling this was a relief to have such an excellent 5 Star experience. Thank you Tara.

Tara is fantastic! She did hair styling and makeup for my family and I for my wedding. She responded almost instantly to my Thumbtack inquiry and she has been just as responsive throughout the whole process. I am very sensitive to certain makeup and she made sure she had makeup on hand that wouldn't give me any problems. She understood the look I wanted immediately and created hair and makeup for my family and I to look like our best selves. She was kind, prompt and we had a great time talking with her. My experience with Tara was amazing from start to finish, all for what I think was a very reasonable price.

Tara does the hair and makeup for Civil Society tv talk show and I couldn't host the show without her. I'm not what people picture when they think "tv host" but thanks to Tara I am able to go on set with confidence. She is a true professional and our guests on the show are always thankful for Tara too. She does amazing work. I know the producers are very pleased we hired Tara. She is an integral part of the crew.

Weddings have a standard rate per service with a varying travel fee. Day events/production have half day/day rates. Salon prices vary depending on service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the sevice, I typically do a phone or in-salon consult! Often an exchange of pictures is necessary and helpful for both myself and the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed cosmetologist and have extensive training in both hair and makeup. Also, I am insured. I have trained at the Redken Exchange as well as with MAC! My wedding company has received Best Of Weddings from theknot.com 4 years in a row.
