The work was done and thorough but we asked for paperwork to prove it was complete and we were told that paperwork was included in the estimate. Also, it has been nearly a week since work was finished and we have not yet received a bill.Aug 28, 2017GHS® P.'s reply
Sorry there was confusion about the paper work / reporting. We appreciate the feedback and will work to improve our communication about our reporting & completion process documents. Sincerely, Tom I.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our Mold & Odor Removal and Remediation services are priced on an individual basis per specific job requirements. However, we provide service upon four general categories: 1.) Pre-treatment: GHS® Portland shall prepare the space to include boundary and space containment to reduce the spread of airborne spores during treatment and (if required) establish a negative air-pressure environment while performing H.E.P.A filtered air scrubbing. We will remove and dispose of the (to be determined) required amount of compromised materials, including, but not limited to: debris, base-boards, dry wall, carpet and any/all furniture and equipment pre-approved by owner within the designated space. 2.) Space Conditioning: After pre-treatment is complete, GHS® will re-assess the level of existing moisture within the space and establish proper ventilation, dehumidifying and/or other drying methods to reduce moisture levels remaining the environment in order to properly perform the service application. Air scrubbing and negative-air containment will remain in place (if established) to further assist the removal of airborne spores from the individually contained environments. 3.) Service Application: All visible exterior mold will be HEPA vacuumed and then wiped all with a Green Home Solution® EPA-approved natural mold solution. We will then perform the mold and mold-related allergen remediation by aerosolizing the space with an ultra-fine enzymatic mist to “kill” and render any mold inert. 4.) Post-Remedial Verification: After the required Dwell time for the enzymatic solution to remove the mold, a Post-Remediation Verification (PRV) test shall be conducted by a reputable, third (3rd) party Mold-test company in accordance with the Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation, S520, Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). The PRV testing company may be selected by the client, or if client prefers, by us. If PRV results do not indicate a indoor air quality clearance for mold, we will retreat the space as needed!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Step 1: Short phone consultation to answer any questions you may have about GHS® Portland and to better understand any potential mold situation. Our primary goal is to ascertain when, and if there has been a known water or moisture intrusion (the catalyst for mold growth) that requires an onsite Mold and Moisture Assessment. Step 2: At the client's preference we would then schedule a Residential or Commercial Mold or Odor Audit. Indoor Air Quality Testing for Mold is also available for scheduling at this time for $295 (up to 5 samples) if client desires detailed analysis of visual growths or indoor air quality for mold spores. Step 3: After performing our Mold or Odor Audit, including a complete Mold & Moisture Assessment (and Indoor Air Quality Test for Mold if desired), we provide a scope of work (proposal) for complete remediation of the Mold or Odor. Our work is guaranteed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? All our Mold & Odor Remediation technicians are InterNachi Certified 1.) Moisture Intrusion Inspectors, 2.) Mold Inspectors, 3.) Mold Certified Indoor Air Quality Consultants and, 4.) Infrared Thermography Inspectors. Additionally, technicians are TestAll Mold-Testing Certified and EPA Lead-Safe-Certified making them experienced with the proper removal of lead-based materials as sometimes required during remediation.
