DJ Collin went above and beyond our expectations! I performed some heavy research comparing DJ services before we decided to move forward with Significa. I met with him a few months before our wedding at Cooper's Hall to discuss the vibe and right off the bat I knew we were on the same page. He was open about allowing me to select music for each stage of the event. We continually stayed in contact as I sent him playlists on Spotify and he was quick to respond anytime I did. He was on top of the set-up music, welcome music, precessional, recessional, cocktail hour, first dance, dinner, cake cutting and dance music. He also announced transitional stages throughout the night. His directions were extremely organized and led to seamless transitions throughout the evening. He arrived a couple hours early to perform a soundcheck in order to ensure everybody was mic'd up and ready to go. Throughout the event, he displayed extreme attention to detail and did not make any mistakes. We had many compliments regarding the music selection and he was open to take requests from people on the dancefloor. We were elated to have such a fun wedding on a Sunday evening, which we knew could be a challenge with guests having to work the next day. He was an extremely affordable option compared to other DJs in the area, who only had digital setups. Collin provides two turntables that contributed to the overall aesthetic of the wedding and allowed him to demonstrate his skills and include his personal record collection. In addition to the DJ, they also provided us with a magic mirror photobooth and props for the pictures. This setup did not take up much space and was fully interactive with our guests. People loved it and we are glad we chose to go with them in order to preserve the memories. We were so lucky to find such a prepared, friendly and organized vendor to make sure our night was perfect. I can't say enough about how nice it was to trust somebody to take over such an important aspect of the wedding. Recommend 100%!!

Our office had both DJ and Magic Mirror Photo booth services from Significa for our Holiday party and everyone was truly impressed and had an absolute blast! The day after our party the team could not stop talking about how much fun they had dancing and already had their photo booth strips hung up by their desks. I received comments about the party being the best the company has ever had, and Significa was a huge part of it! During the customization process before the party, they were quick, responsive, and paid attention to detail, truly making sure everything was exactly how we wanted. Among all my other Holiday tasks I felt like this is the one thing I didn't have to stress about. Collin and Mel were both professional, fun, and easy to work with and I can't wait to work with this team again. Definitely highly recommended!

We rented the Magic Mirror from Significa and it was one of the best parts of our wedding! Right from the start, Collin was so awesome to work with. Professional, friendly, down to earth and clearly passionate about his business and offering the best experience for his clients. Plus, he was incredibly prompt with his responses throughout the whole process, which is invaluable for anyone planning an event and trying to get everything knocked off the to-do list! During the planning stages, he had lots of fun options to personalize the Mirror and elevate an already unique experience. He offered great suggestions based on our wedding vibe/guest list size and wasn’t pushy at all. Everything we decided on came together perfectly and our guests LOVED the Mirror. Friends and family wouldn’t stop talking about it all night and the next day. I actually almost missed taking photos myself due to running around/dancing/endless chatting with guests, but Collin found a quick moment to let me know we were nearing the end of the night when the venue would cut everything off and wanted to make sure I had a chance to snap some photos with the Mirror. I’m so glad he did and I was able to get some hilarious pics! He went above and beyond in a lot of ways but that was so thoughtful and appreciated. If you’re debating on a getting a photobooth, it is 100% worth it. Your guests get the fun printout as a memento (skip the other favors, no one wants those anyway), you get all of the silly photos to look through after the wedding, and you get to work with Collin! It was easily one of the most seamless and delightful experiences I had with a vendor. My only regret is that we had already booked another DJ before we met Collin, otherwise we would have hired him in a heartbeat and I know it would have been amazing! I can’t recommend Significa enough!!

I wouldn’t even refer to what Significa provides as a “photo booth” It’s so much more! The Magic Mirror was so much fun, was so interactive and was such a hit! It’s like nothing myself or any of my guests have ever seen before. They had a custom touch start screen made for us as well as a custom strip design and backdrop options! We were really able to make it our own to match our wedding. I absolutely LOVED the custom guest book option as well as the option to have copies of all of the pictures printed out for us. The next day we couldn’t get enough of looking at our guestbook and laughing at all the awesome pictures strips, props, messages and at how much our guests were enjoying themselves! We had a line for the photo booth at all times. Collin was also the attendant for the booth at the event and he was very friendly and awesome with our guests, as well as us. We had all been celebrating and needless to say were all a “little” tipsy. He even stepped in to help show our guests how to use the very simple photo book. It was truly the perfect addition to our wedding to make it that much more memorable, unique and fun! Collin, the owner was absolutely amazing to work with! He was on top of every detail and his follow up and follow through was beyond my expectations. Planning a wedding can be difficult with lots of moving pieces and parts, especially if you’re not the most organized person such as myself.. Collin made everything such a smooth process! From the booking to selecting all the custom options, everything was so easy. His communication was awesome and he stayed on top of everything. I also appreciated when we had a vendor meeting at the venue they were able to attend and answer any questions needed. If we ever have another event we will be calling Significa for sure!

Collin was fantastic to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process! I was a bit of a Bridezilla when it came to our music; it was SO important to me that the songs I wanted to hear got played, and Collin completely understood. From my list of songs, he generated playlists for each part of the day and was able to play almost every single song I asked (and that list was long!) in addition to fielding guests' requests. His professionalism was impeccable- he met with us several times (both in person and via Skype as we were planning our wedding from Chicago!) to go over details and ensure we were all on the same page. He also helped coordinate with our dads who played a special guitar duet for our first dance! Collin helped them with their sound check and lent out his personal equipment- he truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Next time we book with Collin, we will definitely be using his incredible photobooth and lighting equipment, too!
