Mostly I appreciate the respect she shows my son—she listens to him and incorporates the pieces he enjoys. I believe this has inspired him to practice and enjoy just playing. Additionally, she understands him and works with him to flex with his other interests as well—even when it isn’t always convenient for her. Suzanne is a strong influence in my son’s musical identity.

Suzanne has taught all four of my children the piano over the last 12 years. She is very knowledgable and relates well with children. She has inspired each of my children to be their best through practice and performance. She does this with kindness, encouragement and patience. My children love Suzanne!

Suzanne is the kind of teacher (and person) I want my kids around. She is smart, supportive, ever calm. For over 10 years, I have seen her lead my daughter, nudging exactly the right amount. Her feedback is balanced: technical and "big picture." She understands and respects student and family limits. We have never had tension around piano lessons and that is a gift. From seeing many of her student recitals, I know that she is willing and able to teach kids with all levels of interest and ability--some who need pushing and some who become performers.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Suzanne for nine years. Since the first year of lessons Suzanne has connected with my daughter and meet truly understood her learning needs and desires. Nine years in and my daughter still loves it!

Suzanne has taught our three children for over four years and counting. She has gifted them with a love for music and a desire to practice even when we haven't asked. We are very thankful to have found her as she has kept the kids engaged; she has included music they find interesting; and she has created a very nurturing and positive space for them to grow in their musical talent and to find peace and relaxation in music. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
