James is a fantastic photographer and videographer. I have used his services several times for home shoots and promo videos. He is super easy to get ahold of and line up for dates. He charges a very fair and competitive rate. When shoot video, he is very helpful by providing direction and feedback during the shoot. And, he has top-of-the-line equipment making everything look outstanding. Highly recommended.Nov 24, 2018

Wildwood Digital Media and the owner were outstanding in their ability to help my company utilize our social media platforms better. They are super organized, consistent, utilized relevant materials for our sites, suggested areas to improve, and were technologically savvy. Plus their pricing is fair and honest. I would highly recommend!!!Apr 18, 2018Review from Facebook
We weren't expecting a photographer to be at our friend's Holiday party, but were pleasantly surprised to see JD there. He took some great pictures, and we got a fantastic family portrait from him. He's an amazing photographer and he was fun to work with.Mar 5, 2018Review from Facebook
Wildwood Digital Media is first class! I would highly recommend them for any of your digital media projects. We used Wildwood for our son's basketball highlight video and it turned out great! Fast and efficient with reasonable rates.Mar 2, 2018Review from Facebook

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? If the project is relatively simple, like filming an interview, I generally charge per hour. Essentially the cost to cover myself plus lighting, camera, audio, etc. My specialty is writing, helping companies create content that engages customers. These projects are generally a fixed amount depending on how involved the project is and the gear required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to be forward about telling clients about what might not work. Most videographers are just excited to get clients and never really give any input about the actual product. Most business content on social media is boring and has no engagement, humor, excitement, etc., with the viewer. Many companies do not have enough sales experience as well, so I try and help with that: what is it we're selling and why do they need to take action. Videography is easy, engaging content that finds you new customers isn't.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Freelance work through my company is essentially my passion project. During the warmer and nicer months I am quite busy as the Director of Marketing for a real estate firm. In addition to real estate work, I also have a sales background in the automotive industry (my family owned and ran automobile dealerships). And in between all of that, I spent six years of my life teaching, mostly middle school in the Bronx.
