FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For a full day wedding film, I charge $3,250 for local weddings and for travel, I charge $3,650. For elopements, I charge $2,550 for local elopements and for travel elopements I charge $2,950. If you're a business, starting price will be typically $3,000. I'm working on starting a corporate business outside Pacific Pine Films, which will be more in depth, but as of now I'm more of a wedding filmmaker, but I'm happy to start working with businesses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is to know the customer on a personal and business level. I like to know why they enjoy the work that they do and what kind of benefits I can offer to them to really share their story or to simply give them the footage they need that they cause either use over and over again, or whatever they need it for. I like to know their passions and their personal drive to become successful, because I want my work to reflect their work and who they are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started getting my training with Aaron Mayo, owner of the Wedding Videography business Grace Media Films. He's eight years experienced and he has been very successful in what he does. He's taught me how to edit through Final Cut Pro X, how to shoot my Sony a6500, and how to use equipment and how to get started on my own. Currently, I have been doing video production work for 4 1/2 years.
