FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
- If you are moving locally we charge hourly and pricing will depend on how many men are needed. - Out of state moves are done on a "weight basis" meaning the truck is weighed before it gets to your residence (empty) and is weighed again after your items are loaded. - warehousing is priced on a per pallet rate - household storage is priced on per crate rate. Our crates are vaulted storage and have been used in the moving business for many years
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically send out a salesperson to your home or business prior to the move. This gives our customers a sense of comfort and helps with all the unanswered questions you may have. Our salesperson will be taking notes on what the items are that will be moved and giving advise on what you can do to save money. Once they have left your residence we will work up a "cube sheet" that will determine the actual weight of your shipment, plug in a few numbers and a estimate of what your move should cost is created. We will then call or email mail you and you decide from there.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born into this business. I am the third generation mover/owner and have worked from the ground up to learn every aspect of this business.
