I had looked at over 25 homes and had given up looking when I found Richelle Oades online through a miracle, she helped me find and navigate my very first real estate purchase. Richelle was patient, highly knowledgeable about the area I wanted to live in, the ins-and-outs of buying homes, and was incredibly flexible and accommodating in scheduling viewings. She wasn’t fazed when I had several different goals in mind for buying a certain type of home and many “must haves” that went with each goal. I closed and moved into my first home after only looking at just a few homes and I’m absolutely thrilled – I cannot recommend Richelle highly enough! She basically guided me every step of the way and made the process of buying a home very easy. I can't speak highly enough of our experience with Richelle Oades. As a first-time homebuyer with very little knowledge about how to find the right place, I knew instantly that Richelle was the relator for me. She is honest, quick to respond and hands-on, which really helped to take the pressure off of me. I never felt forced to make an offer and when in a bidding war (or two), Richelle walked me through every step of the negotiations, even suggesting that I write a letter to the sellers to explain why I thought they should choose me. It was an unconventional approach but it worked and I thank Richelle for that every day! I have several friends looking for homes and thinking about selling, and I always recommend Richelle to them!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a new buyer, I prefer to do a buyer consult. This allows me to outline the needs of the buyer and explain the buying process from the start to finish, answering any questions along the way. For a seller, I pull together a comprehensive listing report to outline the best market price for the sale and identify ways to add value to the home. This listing consultation also includes the listing process from start to finish and an opportunity to answer any questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed real estate salesperson in Kansas and Missouri.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I left a career in corporate sales and marketing after being tired of constant travel and requests for relocations. I realized I had a knack for finding fixer upper properties and renovating them with my own, and explaining the real estate world of buying and selling to my friends and family. It only made sense to switch to doing it professionally, and it is the best professional decision I have ever made. I strive to go above and beyond to provide quality customer service for my clients.
