Introduction: I have spent the past decade cooking in restaurants throughout New York City and Rhode Island. My favorite moments have always been making family meal for the staff. That one meal during the day where everyone stops what they're doing and comes together to enjoy something delicious. I bring this feeling of family to everything I cook. I love creating a recipe from a kernel of an idea to a finished plate of food. The best part of the entire process of cooking is being able to see the satisfaction on a client's face after having eaten one of my meals. I also enjoy showing young cooks new techniques as well as learning different techniques myself.

Table 12 created a really special dinner for my wife's 40th birthday. Michael's menu was high quality and he was so flexible with the dietary requirements of some of our guests. The packages for tableware and décor were also really flexible, and Lauren created a stunning setting. The food was delicious, we had such a great evening and they left our kitchen looking immaculate. Thanks Michael and Lauren for a memorable event!! I would recommend Table 12 to anyone!

Honestly we feel Chef Mike made our wedding day. We want to thank him so much for his amazing skill in the kitchen, his joyous kind demeanor and his crazy work ethic. He was truly the energizer bunny not only cooking 5 course meal for all of us and serving all of us but bussing and cleaning everything as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience taste and all.

I had a 40th surprise dinner party for my husband. Michael was absolutely amazing!!! The food was delicious!! He was so great to work with. He always answered emails in a timely manner and accommodated everyone’s dietary needs. I will definitely keep him in mind for future events. I could not have been happier and all my guests are still talking about how great the food was!

We hired Michael as a unique way to thank my in-laws for all their help with our wedding while they were in town! Michael was super responsive, fun to have in the kitchen and immensely talented. Everything we ate was incredibly delightful AND there were even leftovers! It was a totally new experience for all of us and allowed us to spend more time together without leaving the comfort of our home. I would highly recommend Table 12/Michael for any personal chef/catering needs!

Working with Chef Michael Haigh was incredible. From the first time we spoke, he was determined to help make the surprise birthday dinner I was planning a success. He gave me numerous menu choices and helped me select the options that would be best for our dinner based on our likes. He even finalized his menu with a few additional touches that were favorites of ours. Leading up to our event, Michael remained in constant contact with me. He responded to all of my questions in a prompt manner, and he made sure that the event details were finalized in plenty of time, taking into consideration that we would be out of the country for the week leading up to our event. On the day of our dinner, Michael showed up exactly at the time I requested. He was professional, courteous, and a joy to have in our home. He did not mind that we remained in the kitchen with him, talking and joking and asking about his work. Perhaps most importantly, the food was out-of-this-world! Each course was truly phenomenal. Michael explained what was in each dish as he was serving us, and even give us details about how certain items were prepared. He cleaned up after each course, and left our kitchen spotless. Chef Michael was reasonably priced, incredibly professional, and is clearly an outstanding chef. We will not hesitate to use him in the future!
