FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat rate of $100.00 for the first hour, and then offer seasonal discounts for the second hour. I also am happy to work with my customers to create special deal packages based on their individual events. I offer a student discount as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out first what their expectations are for the event. How many guests they have, how much time they would like me to spend painting each guest, is there a theme for the party, etc. From there I like to plan out with my customer the details of where and how they would like me placed in their event. I believe clear communication is one of the best tools to creating a successful, happy, event for my clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been facepainting since age 17. I was first trained by "Sweet Expressions" business owner Candy Neilson. From there I went on to independently contract, as well as work with a Southern California based Party Company for one year. We painted for a diverse group of clients doing almost everything form family parties to bug scale community holiday events. It was a blast and I gained a lot of hands on experience during this time. Since then I have been independently contracting jobs or volunteering my services at both family and community functions.
