Rev. Preble was fabulous. We were so lucky to find a person like Rev. Preble to officiate our wedding. I married a Catholic man, but I am not Catholic and we wanted to get married outside. It was hard to find the right person to be the officiant. When we met Rev. Pete he was kind and spent time getting to know us. He is warm and friendly, but also very professional. He drafted a very personal ceremony for us after we met, and I was able to add a few readings during the service, which meant a lot to us. On the day of our wedding he was a friendly face to see at the end of the aisle, and we had the most beautiful ceremony thanks to him. We had a great experience with Rev. Preble, and I highly recommend him.

We owe a lot to Peter Preble for his job as wedding officiate of our absolutely magical wedding ceremony, which had a Scottish theme with a few Romanian cultural tidbits. Peter not only performed the ceremony professionally, without a hitch, he went above and beyond to make things happen in a light hearted and beautiful way. Peter helped us understand the Quaich, and how to use it, which was wonderful! Peter encouraged us to use our family tartan and how to pass the family tartan sash over from the patriarch of the groom to the bride, which was so endearing and lovely. Peter helped us find a wonderful bagpiper, who was simply outstanding. Peter helped us to understand the significance and importance of our tartan colors. He even helped my husband with his Kit, where to go to purchase certain items and how to wear it properly. Peter even helped to perform the hand-tying ceremony of the Romanian culture with the Scottish tartan sash, which was so beautiful and magical. Peter Preble’s attention to detail, his patience, his gentle guidance and understanding made our wedding ceremony complete in every way. Not only that, but Peter Preble’s appropriate and thoughtful sense of humor eased our nervousness and made our wedding the best it could have ever been. Because of Peter Preble, we smiled and laughed more times than I can count. Our absolutely amazing wedding would never have been the same without Peter Preble. We are very grateful for his professional service as our wedding officiate, which was perfect in every way.

We had a Revolutionary era wedding ceremony at which Father Preble presided. Not only did he perform a beautiful ceremony, he looked like he was plucked right out of the 18th Century. (We all did, but you don't see clergy very often at living history events, so it was very cool.) It was fantastic, and he even used an old prayer book, which made it seem even more authentic. It was absolutely magical. A day I will look back on fondly for the rest of my life.
